have recently purchased 2nd hand r290 and cant find any information including the manual. Have checked the links suggested by other posters but they are all dead.

Does any have a copy of the manual.
Can this phone make data calls in satellite mode.

G'day gregg, Go to Ericsson R290 with your web browser, you'll get the full manual there. If you want to download the full file it's about 60 pages long .... I found it very useful.

thanks for the rapid response guys, and thank you for the manual. It seems that I need a piece of software called "Mobile Office (Globalstar Mode)" to connect to the internet, have trawled the web to no avail, does anyone have a copy of this software?
