Peter Batchleor announced last year that a good driving record can be rewarded by a 10% reduction in yout licence fees. A guy, called Abe for the story, not his real name, was offered a reduction as he hadn't had a recorded offence for three years.

Yes, it sounds teriffic doesn't it? A reduction of $106.80 for the forthcoming 10 year licence. The DOB was right as were all the personal details and my old school mate Geoff Shanks signed the offer letter.

Thing was that Bracksie's boys hadn't got the rest of the informatin right. Abe was recorded at 100 years old having been born in 1906 - and they didn't know the other part. He died five years or so ago.

Got any other licencees you want to record as good driving record for your future driving ability?
