Chasing some help here. I have searched the archives and found threads on these in the past but have failed to come up with the supplier of a good quality dual bus - blade fuse terminal block. I really need one for the engine bay and another in the canopy so it will need to be reasonably robust in construction with a good cover to prevent damage from loose objects.

Narva have one but its a bit flimsy to my way of thinking.

Any input gratefully appreciated.

Hi John,

I was looking for the same a little while back. The best one's I could find were from Whitworth's (marine supplier). They are good quality stuff, available in different sizes. Check out their website/online store. www.whitworths.com.au , they have a great range of all things electrical and other.

Cheers,
Jezza

I have the narva one you talk of fitted under the bonnet of my rodeo. I have had no problems with it and have found the connections (the important bits) to be of good quality. the cover has a good lock mechanism and has stayed in place thus far.

I made sure that the block is monted properly, to minimise the cnave of vibration and the such.

2 thumbs up from my perspective

Not exactly what you asked for but I've been using the individual inline blade fuse holders with the rubber housing and cap. They've been reliable and waterproof, and as they are all coming straight off the one point at the secondary battery it is convenient to just cable tie them together side-by-side, no need to mount a box anywhere. I think they're from Narva, with orange leads. Casper

Hi John, I've used the Pirahna type in my Patrol and they have been really good. Very strong and waterproof. Can get them in 4,6,8 rows.

Bag Boy

I took a trip to the 12V shop eventually and brought a couple of blocks, 6 & 12 oulet, brand named All-Zone.

Identical to the Blue Seas and $5 cheaper even down to the packaging including, stickers to identify what is what in 4WD lingo and not marine lingo.

About $50 for a 12 outlet and $40 for a 6 outlet.

Well designed, bullet proof, strurdy construction, good looking and include double bus bar for earth wires from accessories.
