Well only about 8 weeks now till we hit the road for at least two years. We plan to work our way around Oz. have joined www.workaboutaustralia.com.au and there seem to be plenty of jobs. We are studying a caravan releif managers course at the moment and will do releif work at caravan parks etc. I also have a semi licence and forklift ticket so who knows what i will find. Counting the days until we leave the 'rat' race and find ourselves in a more peaceful and productive place. Oh I am 5 &**^%$ something so I won't let age stop me.

2 years + !!!!! You lucky buggers :)))) I've got no hope of convincing SWMBO of that. Looks like you're pretty flexible re work opportunities so "5 &**^%$ something" should'nt be a problem.
Good luck, stay safe and make sure you keep in contact with we less fortunates hahahahahahahaha

I am going to build a website to keep our travels and work info up-to-date so that others with a similar goal as ours will have our experience to learn from. Once finished I will put a link in my profile. At this stage my other half (better half, partner???) is happy to live in our Trayon but we will see what happens after a month or two. I could be doing the balance of the adventure on my own. ( No I am not going to kill her) I will send her to her daughters if it all becomes to much. Hahahahaha

Mate - I'm envious - we did 14 months, then our daughters started having babies so we had to come home. But it was a most wonderful experience. And we keep on travelling seven yerars down the track, but never so long in one go.
Given you will be doing some work, bet you last much longer than 2 years.
Have a great one!
Max

Hi crow
sorry for the delay in getting back to you as we have been doing a caravan
park management course all last week in prep for our upcoming adventure.
We stayed in the camper all last week and found it to be OK. We have an anexe and that has helped us with room. Not so squeezy. I use the slide out trundl draw to store the fly, anexe, fishing rods etc.
