Greg & barb
We are leaving on a trip up north in early August
We are planning to stop around Iluka for a couple of days: could use some ideas on
a good place to stay
Thanks,
Greg & Barb

Woody Head on the road in to Iluka is one of my most favourite spots. It's in the national
park and right on the
water. Beautiful spot but best visited outside school holidays if possible as it is quite popular.

Woody Head is certainly a nice spot, but as Plantman has said, can be quite busy at times. There is a good caravan park/
camping ground in Illuka , only a hundred metres or so to the pub, a couple of boat ramps nearby and close to the shops.
cheers,
