Hi,
I know that this is a bit off topic, but I have to get a moderate size package (with some 4X4 accessories) that is too big to post from country NSW to Melbourne.

I have heard that some interstate bus companies can provide a freight service, but don't know which ones to ask.

Are there any recommendations of who I could try ?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,
Mal

Interesting, thanks for that.

But don't see a coach turning around in our narrow street :-)

Yep, Bus Freight is the way to go.
I bought a HF off Footloose a couple of years ago. He sent it Bus Freight from the Gold Coast and they delivered it to my front door.
I don't think it cost very much for a whole Codan with Autotune.

Geoff.

Another one to look at.

Have only recieved from them, did price postage for an Oztent and seemed reasonable especially for door to door service.

YMMV

G'day Mal, I may be wrong, but, as far as I know, Greyhound/McCaffertys is the only one that does interstate. Maybe some other companies do it within your state, but Greyhound are the only ones for interstate. Their freight department is called/registered BusFreight.

Of course they freight. Unless things have changed in a lot of areas they are the main carriers from mail to the film reels for the local cinemas to the chemiist shop supplies. To all the bakery supplies along the nullabor
