I have a 93 VX Ltd factory turbo auto. Averages about 14 - 14.5 lts per 100 ks. Impossible to split town and highway as I do quite q bit of both on a normal
tank.Towing our van can be a lot more depending of which way the wind is blowing !!

I have acouple of mates with 1991-93 1HDT Sahara autos and they impress me with their fuel consumption - it was about the same as I was getting from a diesel Prado at the time. One of them had a Safari intercooler and 3 inch exhaust which helps as
well. Can't give exact figures but I'd guess 12 l/100k for normal highway running.

My 100S 4.2 TD is 2001 so similar too yours. The best is about 9l per 100km and the worst out to 18l per 100km when fully loaded with camper trailer in the bush and on sand etc. Over 40,000kms I have averaged 13.81kms per 100kms

92 T/Diesel Cruiser with the 1HDT motor. (October 92)
Around the 12l-13l/100k's with a mixture of suburban and highway thrown in... doesn't change a great deal on the highway etc anyway..
I run 305/70/16 BFG muddies on all the time in these figures also... along with the drawer setup and fridge in the back.
Cheers
