I have had problems too. I spent 1/2 an hour typing up a mega reply to someone and when I submitted it it dissappeared into cyberspace. I will try again with this one. If it dissappears no one will be able to read this anyway.

the trick to that is you TIME OUT if you take too long to reply...

What I do is copy everything I type by clicking at the end of the last word, and then press

CONTROL C for copy (the Control Key on the Keyboard and the C for COPY at the same time)

Then if it doesnt post, then you can try again but this time just PASTE it back in my pressing

CONTROL V for Paste (Control Key on the keyboard and the V key for Vaste - dont ask me why its the V!! but it works!)

Also you can click your mouse on the EDIT on top of INTERNET EXPLORER or NUTSCRAPE and look after the Words, you should see things like Control + C etc. they are the short cut keys. or one letter underlined Copy would mean CONTROL C

Hope this helps.

On Optus broadband as well, have sent several emails to David concerning speed ect, is not an Optus problem as other sites load as normal, slow speed and Q/A disappearing into never land seems to be only happening at certain times of the day.

I am actively updating almost every page of the site at the moment due to a few coding issues and some procedural problems. This has been causing the site to run a slower than usual. Yesterday for a period the site needed to be shutdown in order to correct some memory management issues - following this some tuning was installed on the server to look at the performance and this tuning sprung a leak in the forum - Oh poo it has not been fun. I am currently buried in code updates and changes. The site has been getting better all the time since this morning - I will get on top of it soon I hope :-()

The forum and other interactive areas should be fine now and performance will get better over the next day or so. If you find any problems please please email me directly david@itbeyond.com.au. I do not read the forum much - In fact I only saw this via testing.

David
