To all 4JX1 owners out there , like all of you I have received a recall notice for the injectors (leaking diesel into crankcase oil) for my vehicle . I have contacted my local dealer and they confirmed that they will be replacing the injectors to avoid this happening . All I can say is Whoohoooo , I love my Jack but have always had the nagging doubt about this fault and when it will raise it's head (GU 3L owners will understand my anxiety) I have 110,000Ks on my car and no probs to speak of and now I will be a lot more confident on a long trip . The dealer advises that it will take a week or 2 to order parts in, then they will require the vehicle for a full day.

Cheers Dave l.

That will cost Holden $$$$$$$. It's a big job replacing Injectors on the 4JX1.I wonder how many need fixing? I hope they don't stuff it up like they did on my dads Jack. it was only running on 3 cylinder and blowing heaps of black smoke it took them a week to fix it. Good luck hope everything goes well with yours.

Cheers!

My injectors are taking a couple of days to get in, and the mechanic has it down to 2 hours apparently (including inspecting injectors and replacing). Metro Holden in Adelaide for anyone interested.
