Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone has a plan or design out there for making a frame for a canvas canopy! Its to suit a LN167 hilux Tray back. Even if someone has got one on their ute that they could take some photos for me!
Please Help!

Our 96 hilux single cab ute tub just got hit in the rear pretty bad, and looks like it will be written off, Lucky for you the custom canvas canopy and barwork is untouched. It will be offered for sale soon so i will have some pics to post.
I got a rear tube bent to match the front toyota bar. and used 3 brace tubes front to rear to hold the profile, the canopy has zip up windows each side with shade cloth fly mesh , and the rear zips up at the width of the tailgate each side.
It was all custom made, the gal tube frame by me , canvas by an old workmate.

Hi,
I made a frame for the back of he tray top the same shape as the head board, It was shaped with a peak at the top. Then I used 5, 3/3 inch pipes from front to back. The top center pipe holds the front to back together. You do need to have at least a 10 Cm pitch for the water to drain off ( Prefer 15Cm in case you are not parked on level ground or the curb of a street
Then I took the frame to my canvas maker to make up the top. Zips on 3 sides. No windows for privacy & security.
The whole lot locks into place but can be packed in the back when not needed for large loads or no loads.
Sorry no photos available
