It's amazing how the
water works with the sand to suck an object in. Must be heartbreaking for the guy. Looks quite new as
well!

ohhhhh yes it is (not) I was a bit slack with tyre pressures on a beach a few months back and went down in a bed of cocle shells I quickly jumped out and started getting more air out but a big wave came in and hey presto suddenlythe 80 was totally bellied out. Luckaly the southern oceon tides move very slowly and i was able to get a snatch out. i tried the high lift but my jacking board was sucked under by the next wave - dug around later and couldnt find it even though it was about 45 cm wide and a metre long

My jacking plate is also my barbie plate - 6mm steel. Has a hole in the corner for a shackle and a bit of chain, Just winch it out when done. Also
the beach cleans the plate up
well at 50kph behind the car!
Cheers Andrew
