Gu Series 4 Uhf instalation

Hi

I want to instal a Gme Tx 3400 remote head uhf but with the new dash & console layout i dont know where to mount the remote head any ideas.

Vehicle is a 2006 Gu Wagon

Not sure if this helps, but in my GU-I, I have mounted the head where the ashtray is. I removed the ashtray, made up a dummy panel to replace it, and mounted the 3400 head (along with the HF head) on that panel. I fed the wires thru underneath. Both displays are quite easy to read in that location.
This also means that when I sell it, there are no screw holes to contend with. I just replace the ashtray.

I just did a mates. Moved the sub tank switch down onto the switch console next to the shifter. (Just enough length on the wires if you try it.) Then I put the head infront of where it and the other blanking switch cover were.

The tx/rx wasn't hard but I can't exactly remember where i put it. Drivers side footwell from memory.
