Further to my post no. 35209, I found what was causing the lack of red colour on my screen - the VGA cable is faulty. I am also fairly sure it is the mini Din plug end (the one with 9 holes) and not the serial end nor the USB plug. The Din plug is moulded on so does anyone know how to get into one of these without wrecking it? I am also looking to buy another cable if it can't be fixed, but it is going to cost quite a bit from what I found on this site:

Anyone know of any other suppliers?
Thanks
Peter
ps: Lilliput haven't got back to me yet.

Thanks Mike - I need to find out which wire goes to which pin and as it is moulded it makes it difficult to peel back without cutting a wire.

Buy a $20 multimeter and do a resistance test to see which pin goes to which wire.
