Bris to Gilgandra is scenic, west to Broken Hill peters out, but some intersting, same BHill to SA but gets interesting near Peterborough if you go that way - havent done p'borough to Adelaide but expect it would be interesting scenery.

Once you leave Nyngan it is very similar to parts of the wa bush. Not much agriculture, flat open red, if you look though there is a lot to see. there is a bit of green coming through after some recent rain, you'll see a bit of wildlife and the country does go through a range of changes.

Broken Hill is worth a quick look if you have not been there before.

Broken Hill is worth a big look as is nearby Mutawintji NP, not to mention Silverton and the famous pub, White Cliffs is well worth a look. Slow down and see whats on offer, you will be amazed.

If you have some spare time, go via Walgett, Bourke & follow the Darling river to Wilcannia.

Hi fish064
On your way down from Broken Hill, if you are on the main highway heading south and go through Hallett, take the short detour and check out the Site where Sir Hubert Wilkens lived as a boy. Further down the track you can spend a few days exploring the Burra area and the Clare Valley. Martindale Hall at Mintaro is well worth a visit, made famous from the movie, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Then there are the world famous wineries of the Valley. There is a lot to see and do in this great spot of South Australia.
