Howdy,
This was in the newspaper today, I wasn't aware that alloy bars were winch capable ?
I bet it would give you a hell of a fright if the bar came off while winching !!!!

I got a letter from Toyota asking me if my TD had a Toyota bullbar . Happily , I was able to say no.
Also I took my car back for the
suspension arm "weld check" , and that was OK .

Paul ,
My car is a 2001 model and has done 105,000 klm . I have had the ARB support bracket fitted for three years , so I did not anticipate any problems - and there were none - they said that the weld was the correct length .
I think that is crap about the weld length . They just want to see if it has cracked and if it has , they will replace it .
Cheers ,
Willie
