Hello, can anyone help me? I have a flashing light's on my dash which when in 4 wheel drive stays on but after a very good day at cruiser park, i came to disengauge and the front wheel indicators started flashing?
Now it seems to be in two wheel drive and i drove 100 kms home no prob, but it still flash's.
Iv try to engauge and disenguage again and it goes in to 4x4 no prob and goes in to 2 wheel drive no prob.
What is it telling me?
It,s a 2000 Paj np model
Have i got mud in something?
Many thank's for any help.

Have you tried putting the vehicle in reverse and backing up for up to 50metres to see if the light goes off.

there is a free wheel hub switch on front diff that tends to play up. there is also a series of switches on the transfer which can give problems.. may be best to see mitsu dealer to work out which one is causing you grief. these range from about $70.00 to $250.00

Mate, not an uncommon problem. If it's a 2000 model it's an NM ;-)
Hop on the Pajero club's forum and do a search. Lots of help there.

Yeah there was a bit in 4WD monthly a couple of issues ago, something to do with the actuator(Selector light) seizing in place due to 4wd not being used much.
