Hi all

Has anyone had the arial mount come off thier alloy bull bar. I have a Toyota GENUINE bull bar with a 1800 figerglass arial mount which when I came to an abrupt stop in the soft sand bent over forward. The mount has weld at the top only and nothing underneath.

Where in Adelaide would I have the mount welded back on?

I knew I should have put the steel bar on in the first place.

Thanks for the feed back yet to come

Trev,
Sounds to me like they didnt weld it in place properly. It should have been welded in at least 3 different spots (mostly side x 2 and top x 1) If its a genuine bar, I would have a chat to Toyota first and they just might fix it for free.

You need to find some one with an Aluminium Mig welding plant
Try a boat repair place or sheet metal shop.

If its only a flat plate it will never last, no matter how much weld they put on it!
Make sure who ever welds it back on puts a gusset each side.
Cheers
