Two years ago we visited the
Kimberley (
Gibb river Road, Kulumburu,
Broome….)
We did the traveling in our trusty 1976 FJ 40, not to luxury but she got us there and back a total of 14500 kms crossing the Tanami twice.
This year we decided to go back with our Navara 2004 dual cab turbo diesel due to the fact that this time we will be three.
We have to set it up from scratch,
Snorkel,
Suspension, storage system, long range
tank, etc…
I would like to get some ideas of what to go for especially for the
suspension and storage system (Would a Tradesman type of boxes would be strong enough). Any other comments would be greatly appreciated.
We set our departure date for the 01/05/2007 taking all up 2 months off work.
