Hello All,

I'm currently looking for a rear dust deflector for a 90 series prado.
After looking at passing vehicles etc, there seems to be 2 types.
One seems to bend down over the top of the rear window and the 2nd type looks more like a rear spoiler and goes straight out horizontally from the top of the rear door.

Does anyone know where i can get one of the spoiler types? as every website etc i've tried only has the over the window one.

Hope that makes sense.

Any help appreciated.

Rob

The one that bends down over the top of the rear window is the Toyota genuine part. I had one on a 1998 Prado and found it had no noticeable effect. I went to LAke Eyre before getting it then later crossed the Simpson after fitting it. Plenty of dust on both trips. Best advice is to just prior to opening the rear door, put the fan on full fresh an d open the door slowly as this tends to keep the dust out a bit. I haven't bothered with one on my current Prado.
