Feral,
I got the letter last week. I have a 100s in this range but with an ARB winchbar - I rang the customer support and spoke to an operator - she assured me it was only for Toyota Bullbars.
I'm still wondering if the defective adapter is used on an ARB or other aftermarket bars????
Time will tell I 'spose - Good reminder to practice 'safe recoveries' (at all times).

As I understand it, Bocar make the Toyota alloy bull bars, branded Toyota, but branded Bocar for all other makes (I've got one on my GU Patrol, haven't really done serious winching to date).
