G'day all, we are are planning a trip to the
gold coast in about three weeks time, coming from
Adelaide. We are taking the camper trailer out for its first major trip and our's with it as
well. As time is not important to us, I wouldn't mind heading up to
cameron corner, then on to the
gold coast from there, then taking a different route back on the way home. As I said, this is our first major trip with a camper trailer on the patrol. Any thoughts on this? What should I look out for? Road conditions etc.
Cheers in advance,
Shaun.

If time does not matter you could go up the Stretzleiki track to Innaminka,
Coopers Creek etc and then east to the coast. A good safe and easy trip and you can pick up Haddons Corner with a bit of a back track do both.

Hi Pajeroman, thanks for the reply. I should've been a bit more specific about time. We want spend two weeks in the
gold coast and about a week to get up there and a week to get back making up 4 weeks. An extra week wont hurt if have to. Are you from
Adelaide? If so, how long would this trip take do you think, that is the
Strzelecki Track from
Adelaide to queensland and where cold we do the stopovers, bearing in mind though we have kids as
well.
Cheers mate,
Shaun
