I am planning a trip arround OZ and want to fit out the interior with draws, shelves etc... any hints. I am keen on building it my self.

Need to look at other peoples vehicles and see what works for them and what ideas you like. I'll assume you're talking pajero, and I'll assume its very similar to Prado. But a swing down table on the tailgate is great; The fridge is better at floor level on the left, and a couple of drawers on the right. One of the drawers should be 22cm deep which is the required depth for the cartons of milk, cask wine etc etc Making your own drawers means you'll need some runners - the 650mm 45 or 60kg Hettich runners can be got from Galvins Hardware at Thebarton. Ply is often the best material if you're happy to glue and screw wood, then cover it with utility carpet to make it look great. If you want the simplest and quickest to build, probably Tubeloc from the aluminium
shop, with plastic tubs as drawers.
