Hi - I have a 90 GQ patrol wagon and would like to build my own storage system and fridge slide ( cost reasons).
Does anyone have a plan or a website where I can get Help.
Jonno.

Twas out playin cars today.

:)

But I do have a rear storage for a GQ forsale... Basic unit with 60ltr water tank incorperated, and 1 large draw to fit 2 gas cyls, and 3 burner BBQ, then 2 compartments for food... Well set up. The other side had a fridge slide in it, and was used for dozen or so trips up north and deserts.

Also 2 side pods that go over the wheel arches. You access from the side rear windows if you like! or inside.
Good for storing spares or quick to get at items..

Would take $300 for it, the water tank expensive by itself.. then the

g,day Jonno,There are heaps of different sizes of plastic boxes available to suit your needs as with draw slides kg rated suitable for the fridge (kitchen shelve type)What ive done is cut 12mm ply for the base and 10mm sides and top the size of the cargo area which will allow removal of completed unit (if neccessary) its fixed in pos using org bolt holes 6 boxes & 40lt Engle with fold down table to the back 2 boxes 60 lt esky to the front .its cheap it works for me( so i can spend more on vehicle enhancements).cheers

If you live in Port, try PeeCee's in Kuarangi ?? off Acacia Ave (on the corner as you are heading to janelle's). He makes storage units for 4wd's but is not cheap. Maybe thats why your asking around.

John,

How close to Port Macquarie do you live.

I live in Port and have made my own (with a little help) which you are welcome to look at and copy if you want. Mine is for an 89 Series Cruiser, however it could go in anything with some adjustments if required.

Total cost of mine was approx $500 with heavy duty draw slides, 16mm ply, latches, carpet etc.

Contact me AH on 0412 656842

Cruiser :)

Hi Cruiser
I live in Bonny Hills so not all far (20ks).
I will give you a call sometime and have a look.
I will also have a look at trucksters and see what I need.
I normallt take a camp trailer when going bush but some of the tracks around Armidale are pretty steep.I can get in ok but the trip out can be a worry so I need to set up the patrol to carry all my gear.
