BBB,
Did a lot of that, except CREBB track, in February in the rain prior to the cyclone. Had trees over the Bloomfiled Track and swollen creeks and raging weirs, GREAT FUN.
Ended up driving from
Brisbane to
Cooktown, down to the
Atherton Tableland to
Normanton,
Karumba, Bourketown, North
Gregory Pub,
Lawn Hill into the Isa and
Birdsville for February 28th this year. Great gig.

Sounds like an awesome trip. Not sure what you mean Cape Trib via the
Creb Track. You have to do one or the other they are not connected. Also
Creb track is still closed, not sure when it will open, doubt it will be anytime soon as we are getting more rain right this moment.
Anyway, hopefully it all works out for you

With the weather forcast I doubt your chances on the Creb in the next week.

Just thinking the same thing mate, Cape Trib is on the
Bloomfield Track, the
Creb track is a completely different track that runs parralell to the Bloomfield.
Might want to ckeck with CYMA if you are actually going to do the Creb, if you're not it might not be worth the money for just the Bloomfield as this is a road that is negotiable by a dunnydore were it not for a couple of ck crossings.
Mind you, Roy does have access to quite a few private tracks around the area, so might not be so bad afterall even without the Creb.
Watch out for ' jumping tree's ' and have a good ride.
