Hi all

I am planning a three day hike on Moreton for our youth group. The plan is to catch the barge to Bulwer then hike to North Point for the first night. Then down to Blue Lagoon for the second, And then Back across to Bulwer to catch the barge on day three.

Has any body walked from Blue lagoon to Bulwer? It looks to be about 8k's so I figured around 4 hrs walk. Somebody told me to allow a lot longer than that. We need to make sure we get to Bulwer in time for the barge, so please give advise if you have walked this.

Thanks,
PJ.

We will be sticking to the beach or marked roads so hopefully it won't take us that long.

Last time I measured the distance I seem to remember that its a tad over 13klm from the Blue laggoon camp area to the Bulwer fuel bowsers , takes 40/45 min to drive the beach and track ,no way can you "walk" that in 4 hrs , try about 8.
