Anyone heard from Wolfie lately? He seems to have disappeared. I suppose I should give him a ring.

My old "mate" GO_OFFROAD hasn't been around for ages. He and I used to punch on until we developed a bit of mutual respect and understood we weren't all that different. He used to add some pretty good advice. I know his wife had some serious health issues, but she was recovering well. Where has Darren gone?

There was also a very opiniated woman, Karen I think, who used to voice some very strong opinions. Where is she?

There are surely others that have slipped my memory.

Can't say I ever agreed with all of them at all times, but they sure did add some flavour. I miss 'em. Forums need characters to inject some life.

I've been a bit quiet lately. Some thought I was a stirrer, so I've pulled my head in. Seems some others have done so too. Maybe I'm imagining it? Maybe I'll fire up a bit?

Jimbo

You are so right. I don't get on this forum very often but have gained a wealth of information from it. From buying the diesel Terracan and the Coromal Camper, a lot of my reasons as well being personal I also took a lot of notice of advice on this forum.
There will always be sh1t stirrers but that is ok when it is done in a friendly way.
One would be "Truckster" who I have never met but his posts are always a great read. I remember when I first bought the Terracan he made a comment about getting a "real" 4wd. I took it as toungue in cheek and the Terracan really suited my needs but I took no offence by Trucksters comments. Every day when I get on the forum I always read his comments even if it has nothing to do with me.

That is what makes this forum so great - plenty of information and a bit of stirring.

Just think Jimbo if not for this forum I would not have met you and the other guys and had such a great time between Christmas and New Year while being a Mexican.

By the way where has "Diamond" gone to as well. Have heard nothing of him since my visit to Victoria. Maybe that Bourbon I left him has effected his brain :)

The car races are not far away either Jimbo. Plenty of room in the back yard for a few camper trailers.

Cheers

Have had a few homebrews so if spelling and grammer is not good then blame the homebrew.

Brian,

I'll see you for The Great Race as long as all goes well. Looking forward to infiltrating your backyard.

Diamond now calls himself "nowimnumberone". I'm not sure why, I haven't seen him since our trip.

Anyway, I look forward, very much, to catching up with you and Gaye soon.

Best wishes,

Jim.

I guess I had better get a supply of Skybuie ready as well.

I am enjoying a nice Coffee Liqueur as I type this with two fingers.

Any thing else the boys and girls would like while absorbing the Bathurst hospitallity? Put your orders in now and all will be ready when you arrive.

I will try and turn on some good weather as we have had some MINUS 10 mornings here in Eglinton lately.

Cheers

Brian,

My lads were very partial to your Bourbon. I'll have to talk to you about getting a setup to do our's at home.

The Skybuie speaks for itself. A fine drop.

Tim's kinda drifted off the scene since he moved to Katherine.

I spoke to him a few months back when he was back in Vic on a trip. We couldn't catch up due to some problems he was having.

We don't see him much on the Terracan forum either these days.

I must call him.

Hiya Davoe
Yep I'm back and Willem is still traveling.
I was only doing the first 3 weeks with him due time issues of my own.

2 nights at Warburton before the GCR was opened.

Did you catch up with your Sister OK? Heard you talking to Adelaide Base arranging a message for them.

Don't blame them really, all people want to do on here now is complain and whinge and argue about what others drive or buy as accessories, don't have an Engel so your an idiot or don't drive a Patrol or Cruiser so your an moron, blah blah blah blah, childish crap in my mind.

I only chitstir here now, i use another forum for tech and serious answers to questions i have.

Also you can't edit or delete or have smilies or a gallery or a personal blog or attach photo's as well as other forums.

Such a negitive and serious place now, not as friendly as it use to be.

Baz.

The one I miss the most is the one who's name cannot be written on here, he who was blacklisted for puting up a hilarious ad-lib joke about the weekend he and another forumite had had but unwittingly offended [apparenlty] someone so much the forum nazi's cut him off and have put his screen name on a permanent block!
