We are spending the next coulpe years in
Mount Isa and have just taken delivery of a mew 18ft. full height van
There are no van covers available locally and need to get something delivered. Has anyone had experience with van covers and could suggest one that give sun/UV and weather protection.
Any recommendations for a reliable web supplier?

Hi Turist,
I got my van cover from: Caravan Motorhome Covers.
PH 1300304332 or WWW.caravancovers.com.au
It is made with a very light weight material but appears to be extremely stong.
We have only had it for six months so I can't say how
well they last. But I have no problems with the quality of the product I received and it looks like it will last for years.
Cheers Monkey.

Try Big W. They carry caravan covers. I've had
mine for 12 months so far and does not scratch the Caravan like a Plastic Tarp would.
There are a lot of Caravan's around my area with the same cover and all appears to be lasting quite
well in elements.
If there are no Big W outlets near you try the on line caravan accessories and mail order one. They are branded as Sun Land on the outer packaging.

Had my Sunland cover now for just over 12 months some stiching is coming apart around the seems now and getting worse but they are around $380 mark now as I paid over $400 but DIY Caravans Parts had them on Special last week for $240 I think but no warranty. So I guess that explains it.

The problem with the Big-W suggestion is that according to their web site there are no stores more than 200km from the coast in Qld. From Mt Isa you have a choice of
Townsville or
Darwin.
