My best mate has them. He has a new set as an earlier batch were recalled. He is/was getting pretty good and even wear out them and has used them in sand (good), mud (pretty good) and rock (High Country - really good) - these being his assessments. He used to run BFG A/Ts and said that to him them perform about the same/bit better on his 80-series, in 185/75/R16 size. He's not a member so I can but only pass on his thoughts.

Hi David,

I have them on my Pajero. 265/75x16. I am very happy with them. They work well on the bitumen and dirt, well on sand, not quite so well on mud until you drop the pressures right down then they seem fine. I changed from BFG A/T and I seem to have noticably less chipping on these tyres. I changed from the BFG when they had about 70k on them as they would no longer stop in the wet despite having quite a bit of tread left. The FCIIs have now done about 25k and looks like they will last at least as long as the BFG if not longer.

Never had a flat with the BFG and have not had one with these either.

Tim.
