Landie
Hi
Sold my 110 TD5 and have another project a TDI. I'm looking to build a cargo pod on the back to replace the current arrangement and keen to locate someone to do the work. I've identified a couple, but interested to see who else is around that does this work.
Cheers

Hey there Landie :)
This is ours. We couldn't find anything off the shelf to suit our touring requirements, so we based our design on the "Chuckwagon" approach, and made it up from square-section mild steel. The baskets are commercially available at any storage-type
shop. The drawer is folded steel with standard filing cabinet runners that have held up for 175,000 country kilometres. The frisge slide holds our Engel 40 litre nicely, and lets it slide out towards the door.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris
Very similar to what we did with our 110, however I am more interested in building a cargo pod on the rear tray of the 130.

Oh! Sorry... :(
You didn't mention "130" as such, so I presumed you had just replaced your Td5 110 with a Tdi 300 or some such.
Hmmm... 130....... :) (drool)
