Am just about to pick up a new Nissan Patrol ST-S and would like to fit up a Gauge Pillar Pod as per other threads on this site. Is there anywhere in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne who stocks these????

Cheers,

Grizzle

We have the pillar pods for the GU's, and a new batch should be arriving today.

If you're chasing one, give Brett a call (07) 3299 4460, and he'll put one aside for you. Also, let him know that Terry from the Patrol forum sent you.

I'll be back from the comp Monday, so alternatively give us a bell then on that number.

Truckster, you using VDO everything? I was hoping to find a volt guage that can cope with multiple batteries.

Yea I got the dashpod that comes with 2 seperate gauges (the one on consoles.com site), and radios..

www.consoles.com/Nissan_PatrolGU_pods.htm

Talking with Alan at TJM Outback accessories in Seaford (Vic), he said they are developing one at the moment, that can do more than one. Give Alan a call 03 9773 5573, tell him I told ya to call him and give him a hard time. ;)

Is it just me or do others not find these dashpods a little unattractive? I looked on the consoles website and I reckon mount your UHF in the double din radio locaton with a single din radio. Or if you need another location for a din sized radio go for a roof console as they actually look great.

Must admit mine looks chit loads better than that, also fits flush compared to that "demo" one on the company site.

Got the roof console too lol.. DVD screen is hanging off there... right price couldnt knock it back.

thought about mounting the radio where the spare hole from single din radio sits, but where to mount the mic annoyed me.

don't be scared to drill the odd hole on the new beast. I have the clip screwed on the surround to the left of the radio. In 10 years time you won't be too worried about the extra hole.
