Happy Birthday Collyn.

Collyn is well past 70. A fellow who makes a fair living out of offering his expertise to those who are prepared to pay a FAIR price for it (ie he writes technical books).

A man of considerable knowledge on matters electrical. He has forgotten more than most of us will ever know (turn of speach, I'm not suggesting Collyn is losing his sharp mind).

He used to provide immense free advice here. He could have charged for it elsewhere, but was once a generous friend to us all. Alas, due to the actions of some, he has chosen to become silent.

Very sad I feel. Many "would be's" who "never were", gave him enough grief to make him take his knowledge elsewhere.

Happy Day to you Collyn, and may you enjoy many more.

Congrats on your birthday Collyn, I don't know you personally but you were kind enough to reply to an electrical query I sent to your site.............it is a shame when someone with your level of expertise and goodwill gets continually shot down by "wanna be electrical experts" that just don't know what they are talking about. All the best and I truly hope you are enjoying your travels & life in general.
