Possibly not quite was I was after Bob. Not what I wasn't after either LOL

However, mighty fine advice regardless.

Cheers,

Jimbo as far as 4x4ing is concerned the Little Desert is a non event. Sorry but my only advice would be to head North to the Wyperfeld & Big desert for softer sand, more history, better lookouts, bigger sand dunes, more wildlife and better campsites :-)
Cheers Craig...........

Milmed Rock Track is fairly good, especially with a camper trailer.

They used to run sheep in there, aint no sheep anymore, look out for black panthers during the night. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi,
Spent 2 nights in there a while back just my lad and I with a couple of swags.

Nothing too challenging but a lot of the tracks had seen very little traffic and very close/overgrown. Basically scratching almost constantly down both sides for some distance in sections. May depend upon the time of year and which tracks you take of course but I would expect scratching if you get off the main drag.

Saw plenty of wildlife which was a plus...emus, roos etc

I was there in 1972 in me EJ Holden Station wagon.

Did a good job too it did. Interesting spot, lots of Mallee Fowl. Of course that was 34 years back.
