A plea for help, recently there was a photo in a thread of a huge pig hanging off a gantry on the back of a ute.
Can anyone point me at the correct post, I have done a search but I think it was linked to another post.
Thanks

I have heard they are carnivorous ... can tidy up any carcases that might happen to be left around ...
This fella looks like he is on a high protein diet, regardless of any questions about perspective in the photography.

More like omniverous, Andrew. They'll eat plant and animal matter. Last estimate I heard was that there were around 23 million of the little darlings running free around the country. Not something you want to wake up to of a morning as you get out of your swag :))))))))))))))))

it apparently weighed 512kg live weight and shot in the
pilbara
i used to catch a lot of pigs for the chiller trade, nothing that big but wouldnt surprise me, plenty of 400kg pigs go in the QLD boxes.

The thing with pigs is if they live in good country with very little hunting pressure, they continue to grow for their entire life span.
