Hi all,
I have a 60 litre fibreglass ice box. Great unit keeps block ice up to 10 days.
I am looking at replacing it with a 12v fridge, but something that caught my eye on the engel website was a Ice Box Conversion Kit. There are two types. Have any off you used these products to convert an ice box into a 12V frige. I so, which one did you use and was it simple to convert?
Regards
Kelvin

Have not seen the Engle one but Waeco do quite a few, so may be worth checking out as
well.
Cheers Bruce.

I havent done the conversion, but did look into the waeco ones at one point. From what I can remember and understand, they come in a single unit and pregassed, so it is a matter of cut your hole, mount and plug it in.
Good luck, if you go ahead, post your results as it would be interesting to hear how it went
