Ever thought that the people you come across wandering the desert are, well, a little unusual ? Try typing '390,000 Jedi there are' into Google and have a look at the UK statistics website this will reveal. Apparently there are 390,000 Jedi in the UK. What has this to do with people you might find out in the desert? Well, at the last Australian census 5 years ago 70,000 Australians declared their religion as Jedi. So watch out for anyone wearing a hood and carrying a strange long 'torch' which sounds like it has an electrical fault.

The country with the highest number of Jedi in the the world (per capita) is our close neighbour New Zealand. We have a census coming up next month. I obviously wouldn't urge anyone to put 'Jedi' as their religion as I did last census, but .... I do hate to be beaten at anything by the Kiwis.

I await the answer with interest... I can't think of anything I may ever google which will lead to a response like that... Of course google does come up with some strange and scary stuff from time to time... Couldn't find the power button quick enough when I googled "Saddle Club" for my niece but that's a whole nutha story and a very good reason to install NetNanny...

There are no Jedi in the deserts of Australia. There are, however, a host of wierd and wonderful characters who will help you if you're in a spot of bother.
I asked one such character if they were a Jedi, and they didn't wait around to answer me. Another mentioned something about may the force be _ _ me. I asked one female if she were Princess Leah, and she then asked if I was always this wierd.

Obviously not members of the appropriate group.

However I do have hopes for my passenger who was frequently heard to mutter, the brake Jim, use the brake.

I wonder how many people we could get to put Jedi on the Census this year? I know what I'll be (well, on census day, anyway).

It would be pretty funny if, say, there were more Jedis than Hindus or Bhuddists....lol. We could start a huge campaign to get it taught in schools as an alternate religion...

Hmmm..... would be interesting.... Messing with THE MAN..

lol
