Hi Guys - I bought a single bucket seat from the wreckers to replace the 3/4 passenger seat in my 1990 model 60 series. I removed the 3/4 seat and proceeded to bolt in the new bucket and the inside slide rail bolt points dont line up with anything Is there supposed to be a bracket, or what do I do. Planning a long trip and figured if the new bucket seat came out of a 60 series should'nt it fit mine ( hope so or I've wasted $240) Can any one Help ??

Jaksun,

I am looking for a way to do the same, did he use the existing upholstry or re-cover the seats with new?
Can you post his phone No. or address on here please?
Thanks,

Hi clarkie63,

Sorry I can't help you directly, but just a thought - the 60 series Saharas had passenger bucket seats standard, so if you could find one to look at, that might give you some idea of what you're missing.

G'day Clarkie, I have a 60 series Sahara and have just purchased another pair of bucket seats from a wreckers to replace the factory buckets.
In the next couple of days I will be taking my seats out so I can take a photo of the floor if you like.
I did go to a local agent for KAB seats to see what they had, and after he asked me what model cruiser I had, he asked me if it had a crossmember under the seats.
I said that offhand I could not tell him. He said the 60 series was difficult to fit seats to, and I would have to chop out the crossmember to fit their seats.
Yeah, right , chop out the crossmember, great idea.
I exited left of stage without his seats.
Let's know if you want a photo.

first stop would be the engineer that will be passing the seats, as when you change seats you need to get them inspected..

second option would be to rebiuld your std seats
