Doing some reserch at the moment
I was told they use a Cooper carcase, which may be a good or a bad thing depending on where you stand.

mate works for a MT reseller in Melb, when i got the MTR's for GU I looked at these, and asked him.

He was that impressed with them (before drivin on them) he sent them back and went with STT's.

I'm fitting the ATZ on my 1999 Prado today - the most amount of money I'd have spent on ANY vehicle :o( From my point of view it was a toss-up between the BFG AT(KO), ATZ or FC-II and I'd heard that the BFG AT(KO) is now a softer compound and chips easy. Mickey Thompson are pushing hard and have good sidewall protection (so they say) so I'm giving them a go and a workout on Sunday ;o)

Forgot to add, that after talking the Mickey Thompson dealer whos going to put mine on today, he said the FC-II don't track too well and tend to wander. Can't say from experience, but I'd guess it's because it has no 'centre-rib' on the tread pattern. If I did more off-road work though, I'd definitly put them at the top of MY list. and the BFG's! I really love em, but want to give MT a go - they also look great :o)
