Hi Guys & Gals....I have been a bit of a lurker here for a while but now im a card carrying member I was after a little insight please. I am looking to spend a week or so with the family wife and 3
young ones 7, 11,13 in the
shark bay area WA. Has anyone been to
Tamala station and if so can you tell me if
the beach camping is any good.
Cheers

Sarge,Atop spot for the kids but there is no facilities. You must call into the station to
gate key and pay your dues .good if you have dinghy.Their are strict fishing rules in this area check them out.Regards wish you a good holliday.

Hi Sarge,
Yes this is a great spot to
camp and good for the kids as the waters are protected and most are quite shallow. I'd suggest you
camp on the more westerly point (not prickle point) as there are more
camping and fishing options. If you are going in September it can get very windy.
Have fun, Wayne

i agree with the answers,a good spot to
camp with kids.the best area for campsites would be the burabugatta part of
tamala.kerry and ian at
tamala will point you in the right direction.the windy season usually starts around start of october till march/april. i live just up the road at useless loop. cheers sparra.
