I just want to post a follow up to my previous post regarding my search for the missing history on my patrol. Unfortunately the mystery remains and no clear picture has emerged about what happened during the missing months. This is despite an intensive search by people in the know and with access to the right systems. I may never know what happened but certainly if anything did it was not done by a Nissan dealer under warranty. I would like to thank everyone who helped with suggestions espesially Steve and his contacts for finding out as much as they did.
Regards and happy 4WDing
Bob

Is the car running OK now? I seem to remember you having some trouble.

No trouble just wanting to fill in the gaps. At the time of my original post I had just had the intercooler fan put on and the EGR blocked off. So far the patrol is going as good as ever and I believe it is actually a bit better. I am happy with what has been done its just a shame I cannot find out what was done in the six months prior to me buying it .

I would like a bigger one mate to be more effective. You could have
mine then. Just for an engine with bigger capacity than yours. Reckon they are a bit small for a 4.2.
