Well a big three cheers to Andrew for putting together a TOP day!
Great tracks and lots of fun was had by all I reckon. Dave who was to tag with us couldn't make it so when he can Andrew I'll give you a call for another day trip!
If anyone else took photos would be great to see them.. jarsofclay@optusnet.com.au
I didn't pull the camera out this time as I saw a few of you were being Fuji's.

Cheers everyone for a great day, not that we ourselves actually got to meet a few of you that we haven't yet known but I am sure there will be more times ahead!

Cheers
Jo

That's our Trev!!!!!

He and Perry taught Mark up and and have the confidence in him enough now to let him go it and know that he is capable. Trev will always keep a watch out for anyone who asks or who he feels needs it!

Andrew, Thank you for a great trip. I put up another thread (not knowing this one was here DOH!!!) 36551. Which should give you a fair indication that I REALLY enjoyed myself and want to know your secret to leading a lot of vehicles on such a relaxed but exciting drive.
To all the new faces that helped make the day enjoyable, I thank you lot also and I hope to see you on plenty more in the future.

Spent most of today cleaning up the old girl (My Nissan not my wife hehehe) and want to advise some of the back markers in the tagalong that I had a look at my air filter today and it was CHOCKAS full of dust so it may be worth haveing a look at your own if it will be a while before your next service. The Nissan is almost as new as the day I picked it up (from a distance anyway hahahaha).

Cheers Andrew, Trevor.

Haaw shucks Trev, Mt Mee did all the work, we just followed the tracks and hopefully did'nt get lost (Ahem!). Obviously it has a good reputation which is why so many turned up, and thanks to you Trev for being tail-end-charlie, it's really hard to know whats going on when you're up the front. Maybe we should organise a regular bi-monthly trip in there - just a thought :o)

Cheers, Andrew (& Carolyn)

Hi Andrew and Carolyn,

Thank you very much for organising such a wonderful day.
The time and effort you put in to make the day a success, is very much appreciated. On the day, we took our Patrol places we wouldn’t consider taking it by ourselves and had a ball doing it. To everyone else that attended, thank you for making us feel welcome on our first EO trip. In another week when I can bend my spine again, we will be eagerly scanning the Trips/Gatherings page for more adventures.

Cheers John & Karen

Hi John, really glad you enjoyed the day. I was thinking about your wife when she took over the driving after I'd said "it's pretty easy going from here" - Sorry ;o)
We were the same with our old Frontera. You become much more confident when you're with a group and soon you'll be 'looking' for the rough stuff LOL.
I've got some friends who've seen the trip report and want to go there, so I guess we'll be back there when I return from our Birdsville trip :o)
Cheers, Andrew.

Having Karen in the drivers seat on that leg worked out really well. Normally I'd drive in those conditions without even thinking about swapping drivers (It’s a man thing, but I working on it). She had a great time and I will definitely move over and give the lady more opportunities to hone her skills in the future. I think it would be very hard not to go back and do it again.
Regards, John
