Shawsie needs to be thanked a whole lot. What a great day out, quite obviously well researched trek notes on Andrew's behalf. We even got a map each before we got the wheels on the dirt (in case he lost one of us, I suppose hehehe).

I was talking to another Member from EO today and telling him how great a gathering this one was (if not the best I've been on, very very close to it). The question arose, "what made it so great? maybe we can all learn from it and make them all like this"..... I don't know if it was one thing in particular or just a combination of many things. If anyone that turned up agrees with me, and can pinpoint one thing that really made this gathering a beauty, can you please tell me. This way anybody else thinking of organising another one of these gatherings can get a head start on what makes a good gathering.

With such a big turnout, it is hard to talk and spend enough time with everybody throughout the day to really get to know the unfamiliar faces that were there for this trip. I trust you were all made feel very welcome and I hope you all enjoyed the company and 4wding as much as I did. I hope to see you all at another one soon.

I can't wait to see the trip report and photo's that some may have taken. I know there is one floating around of Mr Bitchi on two wheels (only just but still good effort !!).
Once again well done Andrew and THANKS !!! to everyone that turned up.

Hi John,

The photo in the trip report shows your wheels to be quite a way of the ground more than I saw through my camera lens. Good effort.

Regards, Trevor.
