We are about to get a Denco turbocharger on out 2000 Troopy - need more power to tow the van as
well as desert touring. Does anyone know of any problems with a Denco and the Troopy.
From reading posts here it would seem that the Denco is a pretty good option.

Bruce and Di. I had a Denco turbo and 3'' exhaust fitted to my 79series 40000k ago.Made a big improvement to its overall performance. Is much better in the sand and towing. No problems so far.
Regards
Tony

Not only is Denco a good option, but the team there actually know what they are doing, and their aftersales service is stunning.
Their service on my GQ was unexpected to say the least, and I left with a smile you couldnt wipe off with a 12 gauge...
I'd go with their upgrade on the GU if I was a bit more cashed up...

Denc o has a good reputation but the 1HZ was not designed to be turboed.
You need to fit a pyro gauge that monitors exhaust gas temp and abide by it otherwise it can make the pre cups rattle and come loose.
I expect denc o will have explained this.
