Anyone know anybody in Melb that could do printing onto 30 of these?

I wanna get club logo on one side, and something on other relating to the trip Im runnin on the other.. $7 for flag off ebay aint too bad although I'd rather you could slide them onto a pole instead of cabletie jobby

These flags are made from high grade, U.V. stable PVC material and will not rip, tear or fray.

Supplied with 10mm ()} inch) inner diameter grommets to enable you to cable tie it to your UHF aerial, fishing rod, conduit, sand flag pole etc.

Truckster,

My Dune Flags are 280mm wide x 250mm high.
The have a 'sleeve' sewn to slip over antenna or pole- with eyelets for securing.
End of flag is welded to eliminate fraying (when flapping).
Material is reinforced PVC- colour HiVis Red- well an orangey / red
Being the 'flouro' type colour- they would not be long term UV stable (ie, may fade after a year of full time exposure).

any sign shop or screen printer will be able to do this for you. expect some setup costs to prepare artwork/film etc.

best option is to have them screen printed. if they talk you into computer cut vinyl lettering/logo be sure they use proper banner vinyl which will hande the constant flexing and more importantly the rolling up when not in use.

cheers

Truckster,
Further on my my last:
Yes, we do screen print them for clubs, groups, expeditions etc.
However, I would only recommend a single sided print- as there is a 'face' side and a 'back' side to the material. The back side (no not your bum) is roughish and grainy and the vinyl ink (we use for printing) in very thin, and would tend to run.
Also, the material is not completely opaque (semi- translucent) and if graphics on both sides, it would look yucky.
Re: the banner vinyl for graphics as mentioned. I would not recommend it for fluttering flags. It is fine for static display banners (and I use heaps of it)- but it would lift off in a flag situation. How do I know??- I've tried it !!
Another process I have used on short runs (that didn't warrant the cost of a screen) is thermal welded graphics. This is far superior than the applied vinyl, but not as effective as screen printing.

The sleeve size allows attachment to HF (& broomstick type UHF) antennas, dowel, fishing blanks and even tent centre poles!! with the eyelets for cable tie securing.

No probs. Trucky

We could set the screen up with the Club Details AND the trip details.
Print the Trip lot, then just mask off and print the Club lot.
One screen & setup- easy peasy.
I do require the club logo in 'vector' format (either .eps, .ai or .cdr)
Nah- don't have email details- please let me know at:

Truckster, I use a guy called Trevor from Coloursource he's based in Bayswater, but is always coming down to Dandy Sth for us. He's done all our building and truck signage, graphics, banners etc. He is the best priced that I have come accross and has great service. You can get him on trevorb@coloursource.com.au or 0405 643 983. All the work he has done for our trucks, banners etc has a 5 year warranty against fading.

Don't ask me, I'm not up on the technicalities of it, only that this is what I have in writing on many quotes and invoices.
