Some blokes will drive anywhere!, This afternoon i helped these contractors out they were inspecting a power line ( main transmission line) and had driven this hilux ute with road tyres on, down this incredible steep track that was wet as.The thing broke loose and went sideways for 20mtrs, and then headfirst into a gully. Lucky for them i was working nearby , it took 2hrs with a thirteen ton excavator to get to them and drag them back to level ground. The Hilux had a few bruises and scratches as did its driver, otherwise all ok.

Whats that old saying?? OH! " Look before you Leap"

Some years ago, back in the good old days of wet winters, power line workers on my parent's farm practically buried their truck. They had to leave it there until summer before retrieving it. There are still deep wheel ruts visible probably 20 years later.
