Wrong GVM on compliance plate

My 07/05 Navara D22 Single cab chassis had an incorrect GVM stated on the compliance plate as compared to brochure/website etc. ie 185kg low
Nissan has immediately responded by having a new compliance plate made which will be fitted on thursday, pretty good service.
Might be worth checking out as it could cause insurance hassles if the compliance plate indicates you were overloaded.

Interesting.
Reminds me that my 7 seater 1998 Prado (bought new) had compliance plate showing 8 seats. Didn't notice this until I was preparing it for sale earlier this year.
