I understand that this is a well trodden path, but I would like some feed back on three options
The rating we are looking at is 50-125ish Kg additional load carrying
option 1 is OME springs and shocks
option 2 is XGS springs and shocks
and finally option 3 which is XGS springs with Bilstein shocks; my preferred option

Living in the NT, limits your option, so I can only deal with companies that are represented in the NT for warranties etc; Lovells don't have an agent in the NT

G'day mate
I got a mate to put OME springs and shocks on my wifes car when it was new, now 2 years old (diesel auto) went to Fraser Island straight away with the kids and was very happy with it. Now not so sure, have'nt taken it off road again ( oh no) but on the occasions that I drive it, I would say it's OK but I wouldn't rave about it. There's also a knocking sometimes, could be a number of things, better take a look sometime

I would second option 3 - you can't beat Bilsteins shocks. Just have to make
sure that whoever fits them know what they are doing... Have a look at the
lcool 120 series forum, everyone is happy with then.

The www.atsgeelong.com.au/ is Victorian agent for Bilsteins shocks
and they do a bilstein package, which includes shocks and springs. The they send them off to all parts of Australia for Prado owners to get installed.
