Finally got around to fitting these up today and boy what an easy job on a Cruiser.
Removed the rear breather extension and fitted the new breather hose on.Cut the g/box-transfer breather off just where it goes into it breather cap(top of bellhousing) "T" peiced this into the new breather hose running up from the rear diff, then "T"eed the front diff into it also. Then up the fire wall and fitted the rear breather cap to the end. This breather cap was in perfect cond but in future may fit a fuel filter on.Took about 40 min.
Now time to play with the EGR system.

Good one Nick

Had to answer, I hate it when no one answers LOL

What are you going to do with the ERG system?

What hose did you use (type, fuel, hyd,)?

Gunna block the EGR off with a ball bearing. From all cases Ive heard they run much better, legally well who is going to find it.
Used 1/4" fuel hose and brass "t" peices.
Looking at your pic reminds me of last year travelling the Kidson track.About 1 km before the wire coils a Nissanin our group broke the main leaf in the springs.Great place to break down.

That's why I bought a Nissan GU Patrol my breathers are already run all the way from the diffs, up the firewall and into the top of the left guard and all done in the factory...just braggin' but what you've done sounds great!

Cheers

I also did mine on the weekend, it took me 90min and I haven't done my transfer case yet, guess I'm a bit slow. One thing I did note however was when I took the hose off of my rear diff there was a rushing of air from the diff, I guess I was lucky I decided to do them. I replaced my breathers with little filter looking things.

Hopefully these Links work.

neat - I take it you avoided the T-piece model.

What tubing did you use?

I plan on using a T piece for the transfercase/transmission, but I need to wait to get some car ramps to make it easier. I had some left over air hose and used that it had a slightly larger id. than the original.

Craig,
Did you use a kit - they look like the piranha brand ones I saw on 4WD TV at the week end?

No kit used you can get those little blue filter things from RS components for about $3.50 each, I then used air line fittings from Bunnings and made the mount out of Ali angle, all up it was about $30 for every thing.
