Hi Everyone

I have just arrived home from 2 weeks travel around asia. I have nothing against the food over there but there was nothing better than cranking the BBQ and cooking up a huge Rib Eye steak.

There is nothing like a great BBQ.

Just popped in to say hi

Welcome home bigfella.

Some of the food in Asia tastes great for the first few days, but then you get a hankering for some simple meat and veg.

I've found in Bali you can get some sensational, traditional, western food. Thailand was another matter. Their idea of roast lamb wasn't quite mine. Bali; a 2 inch thich Eye Filliet, cooked rare with fantastic vegies for $6.50.

The beer in most Asian countries is great too. Wine however is a bit pricey.

Glad you know where home is. to some a bbq is fine food and to others it's burnt snags and dried steak. I'm still refining my bbq skills but everyone is an improvement on the last...at the end of the night I'm usually 7 sheets to the wind no matter what the food was like. Hope you enjoyed the trip
