Given that little Johnny has just opened the purse strings, has anyone had experience with a 90 series Prado gas conversion? How
well does it run? Can you fit it without losing one of the existing petrol tanks? If so where? What is the cost of conversion?
Thought I'd get in eary, I think this will be a hot topic in the days to come.

I was quoted just over $2400 from TorqueGas in Caloundra (QLD) a couple of weeks ago for 90 series prado conversion which removes the sub
tank.
Guy i spoke with said he does a few Prados a week with no problems.
Luckily, i booked
mine before the grant was announced today, although the 1st date i could get for the install was still near the end of September.
Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Boab,
From what I have read, most 90 series Prado's loose the main
tank and it gets replaced with a 90litre gas
tank.
You usually loose some ground clearance, and while a 90 litre gas
tank you get only approx 70 usable litres of gas. This significantly reduces the distance between fill ups.
As yours appears to be different can you tell me more about the conversion that you are going to have.
Cheers,
Mal
