Howdy all.
Well seeing as we're getting subsidised to the tune of $3,000 here in WA, I'm going to convert the Fairlane over to LPG as
well. (glad I didn't do it before!)
Can anyone recommend a company that does QUALITY installations and also, is there anyone in
Perth who specialises in the new vapour injection setups?
I know it's a bit soon for all the details to have come out, but has anyone got any idea if you can upgrade an existing LPG system and still recieve the rebate? I'd like to change to vappour injection of the 105 series if possible which should only involve the unit itself, not the
tank, wiring etc.

Howdy V8 Diesel,
Sorry for delay but was waiting for feedback from a contact at Kleenheat who manages the LPG business.
You're on the ball with preference for the latest generation systems. The early stuff is crap and while providing for improvement in fuel cost is woeful re tail pipe emissions. The people in gov't we deal with are p...d off at the political decision to favour a bigger $ saving to the back yard boys rather than factory fitted systems that are latest technology and also very environmentally friendly.
Anyhow, here's feedback for you:
The IMPCO BRC system is the one that is being used by GMH and Mitsubishi. The local agent is IMPERIAL LPG 361 Sevenoaks St Cannington 9258 6253, 9258 6257.
I hope this is of assistance.
Regards,Hugh

It seems that there is only one rebate per person every three years (don't know about per household).
I would say there would be designated and/or registered installers toclaim this rebate.
Apparently you get the job done, pay for it then hand in recipt with application form to Medicare or Centrelink!
The deal is on for 8 years... by which time (IMO) the price will probably be on a par with petrol/diesel.
I haven't read all links yet, but or more info try this website, then click on the autogas address on r/h side:

Oh
well, if all else fails, we will all have long range fuel capacity!
